Dota 2 promises the originality of the first open source game, with the polish of a Valve title. Of course it also doesn't hurt that Valve has brought aboard some of the original Dota devs. Valve looks to keep the gameplay that has been so popular and emulated in tact, while further evolving the series and genre.
